Sunday's Song

If you're a real movie connoisseur you might need to check out Mahogany. It's some real old school ish, Billy D. was a foo in it, the soundtrack is halfway too.

Flies!

I didn't even know they got down like that. But since they do I'm about to start directing bug porn.

Freedom Project

One of my favorite artists, Katsuhiro Otomo got commissioned by Cup Noodle for this small anime series called "Freedom Project". It's full of clever ad placements and ploys to make you want to eat the extremely tastey microwaveable dish you see imbued all across this animation. Check it out, although all the audio is in Japanese it's still nice to watch, and if you understand the native tongue things are even better.

Ciao.

Fun Times

I had a moment to reflect on a field trip I took back in 9th grade. On the way home we stopped at a bootleg seafood spot, which had a record store next door. So, instead of getting the cod combo, I  borrowed 4 bucks from the homie to buy Redman's Muddy Waters album. It was soooo worth it. I bumped this cut like 18 times in a row, and damn near ran down my batteries on it. But luckily the girl next to me had feel asleep and I was able to swap coppertop's with her.

You should know by now how much I`m into good eats, art, and music, here's the skinny... Aesop from Living Legends is having a bday bbq, if you're in the Fresno area you should come celebrate and grab a plate.

World Famous for a Reason...

No matter where you're from, no matter where you're at, no matter who your auntie is... You haven't had Soul Food until you've visited L.A. and came to the original House of Yard Bird and Waffles. Now, I've had this dish all over but nothing compares to the masterpiece Rosco's cranks out. Big portions for big appetites, the freshest customer service period, the highlight had to be when the waitress said "Don't be shy, tell momma what cha'll want" And I can honestly say, for the 1st time in my life a restaurant felt like home.
